The Southeast Asian Art catalogue is part of an ongoing series published by the Los Angeles County Museum of art (LACMA).

The catalogue contains detailed analysis and discussion of thirty-four works of Southeast Asian art from the museum's permanent collection, as well as four extended essays on related art historical themes, including: light symbolism in Southeast Asian art; female deities in ancient Cambodian and Indonesian art; Sri Lankan and Southeast Asian Buddhism in art; and the relationship between South and Southeast Asian art.

Dr. Robert L. Brown, curator of Southeast Asian art at LACMA, served as primary author. John W. Hirx, the museum's senior objects conservator, contributed technical studies.
